Positioning Ourselves To Hear The Voice of God.

“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: ‘l am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go, Oh that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like waves of the sea.’” Isaiah 48:17-18

Paying attention to the Lord helps us to live a life of righteousness, peace, joy, a life without shame, a life rooted deeply in the Lord and confident in our eternal hope. Our obedience is part of our assurance that we truly know God. Dear brethren, the Lord has great plans for our lives. We need to take time to listen to Him and allow ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Prayer 

Dear Lord, help us to position ourselves to hear you.  Your Word says that your sheep know your voice. We want to follow only that voice. Quiet the noises around us so we would know it’s You. Teach us what is best for us, and direct us in the way we should go.
